Mongolian Chicken

Lunch/Dinner Asian (Mongolian-inspired)

  • 1 pack boneless chicken breast, sliced
  • 1/4 cup corn flour
  • NOOR Corn Oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onion

  • Calories: 400-500 kcal
  • Protein: 30-40g
  • Fat: 15-25g
  • Carbohydrates: 40-50g

  • Mix the chicken with the corn flour and fry with a little NOOR Corn Oil. Remove from the pan.
  • In the same pan, add the garlic and ginger and sauté.
  • Add the soy sauce, water, and brown sugar, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add 2 tsp of corn flour dissolved in 2 tbsp of water to the sauce and cook for 1 minute.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the pan and cook for a further 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Add the green onion and serve with white rice.
